Vicar's Musings

Introductions

Hello online world. My name is Fr. John M. Caraway, SSC. I am 61 years old and am the vicar of a small, but healthy, parish. I just discovered the thrill of releasing my thoughts upon the unsuspecting public, thanks to my curate who built this blog and taught me how to use it. He is so technical it hurts! He is theologically sound, yet his temptation to yield to novelty is his vice. But, he swings the thurible with the best of them!

In other news, Mrs. Bennings, our church warden is stepping down today after many wonderful years of service. So, the parish will begin to see who can fill her shoes (she has rather large shoes for a woman too). Anyway, I hope to use this piece of the web to muse and rant (not too colourful, mind you) about daily life in my small Catholic parish.

May the Lord bless you all.

Welcome to blogging! You seem to have picked up where Fr Thomas Janikowski left off.
